Relay Information

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR RELAY TEAMS! The number of relay teams will be limited to 25 due to race day logistics. If you are planning to register a relay team you must do so before 6:00 PM on Friday, March 12. After the limit of 25 teams is reached, no more relay entries will be accepted.

Team up with your co-workers, friends or family and participate in the 2 or 3 person relay. The relay will start at the same time and place as the 15K. All relay team members will receive the same amenities as the 15K participants. All team members must register and designate a team captain. Entry forms for relay teams must be mailed together. The relay race will be three 5K segments. Three person teams will run one segment each, two person teams can run, 10K/5K, 5K/10K or alternate 5K segments. Transportation will be provided to and from the transition points.

Note: Due to travel and oversight concerns, youth under the age of 14 will not be allowed to participate in the relay without prior approval from race management. Parents or guardians of children under the age of 14 who wish to participate in the relay should contact race director Joe Quillen (256) 366-0040 prior to registering.

Team Registration
15K Relay (2 Member Team): $40.00 ($50.00 late)
15K Relay (3 Member Team): $60.00 ($75.00 late)
(Teams MUST preregister by March 12.)

Divisions for relay teams
Youth (17 and under), Open and Corporate. Top 3 male, female and mixed relay teams in each division will receive awards.

To be eligible to compete in the Corporate division, all members of the team must be currently employed in, or members of, the same profession or group, e.g. military, law enforcement, health care, civic organization, etc.
